A Thousand Hours

 I read that it takes one thousand hours of doing something before you get good at it. I desperately need motivation to practise my cello. Unless I play with friends, my cello stays in her case. As nice as the case is, life in a what is essentially a box is inadequate. Maybe keeping a blog will help me to overcome whatever it is that keeps me from playing for myself. I'll post about hours played rather than days.
